About Me, Liz
My Story
So, who am I? In short, I am a mum, a wife, a farmer, a
business owner, a student and kinesiologist and these
aren’t in any particular order, I guess it depends on
what I am doing on that day.

I am originally from Namban (Moora district of WA) and
after approximately 20 years of coming and going as
a visitor to my parents, I returned with my husband to
the family farm, 'Merilynga' in 2007 where we run a cattle
breeding operation under regenerative agricultural practices.

In late 2014 after having 12 months’ maternity leave, I decided
that I needed to do something towards me, and my family’s, future and a future that involved helping people have happier and healthier lives which translated into wanting to make a change in my career. I had spent the previous 17 years working in the agricultural sector; I had completed university with a Bachelor in Science (Agriculture) from UWA and since that time had worked in a number of roles and areas within the sector. This, however, was not something that I wanted to return to, for a number of reasons, instead I wanted to do something which would allow me to help people and bring joy back into their lives.

This is when I rediscovered Kinesiology. I had first experienced it back in 2007 when at a workshop for our farming business, I was struggling with being there and the presenter took me aside one afternoon and gave me some very basic kinesiology – I didn’t know what it was at the time but what I did know was that it had a profound effect on me. Then in 2009, the naturopath I was seeing at the time used it with me, again with effective results.

Needless to say, in early 2015 I found a college in Perth that taught it and lucky for me (and my clients) it is one of the most respected Kinesiology Colleges in Australia, O’Neill Kinesiology College. So, after 3 years of fulltime study I was qualified with an Advanced Diploma of Kinesiology. The College also provides opportunities for students to build on their skills and knowledge by offering further studies during, or after, their completion of their qualifications. Consequently, I also participated in the LEAP (Learning Enhancement Advanced Programme) which enables me to help people with learning and behavioural issues.

I have a clinic at home on "Merilynga" as well as a clinic room in Moora. In late 2024 I started offering appointments in North Fremantle (Perth) and in early 2025 I commenced remote (on-line) appointments.

I believe rural and regionally based people have a right to access quality services which is why I take immense pride in what I do. I understand the isolation and loneliness that can come with living outside of large centers. I understand how family farming operations work and the pressures (and pleasures) that come with that. I understand the idiosyncrasies of small communities but also the strength that they have.
One of the most significant compliments I have ever received from a client was "You know what I like about you Liz? You get it! You know what it is like. I don't have to explain it. You just know".
